This all over body butter moisturizer is a sophisticated and refreshing fragrance that combines a sweet orchard scent with subtle masculinity and old books. 

This is a limited edition Whipped Tallow, as it contains a Shimmery effect, with an added all natural mineral mica powder!  (We also have this scent in sugar scrub form.)

Tallow use for skincare is centuries old, but it is making a comeback as people rediscover it’s many benefits! 

Tallow was once an important staple in households all over the Western world. It was used to make shaving cream, candles, and was easily accessible to everyone as cooking oil. Around World War II, tallow use fell out of favor, being replaced by vegetable oils and synthetic compounds in many of its traditional uses.

Today, the increasing movement of people seeking clean, pure, and natural ingredients, has lead to a resurgence in the popularity of tallow. However, the process to obtain and render tallow is time consuming, so this product will not be as cheap as generic store bought lotions. You are investing in an all natural, high quality and very effective product for your skin! A little goes a long way too, so you do get longer usage out of tallow versus a generic lotion. 

What exactly is tallow? Beef tallow is a form of rendered fat (it has been cooked down from meat, and clarified/cleaned up), and is shelf stable. Don't worry, you can't smell any residual scents besides our added non toxic fragrances! Grass fed beef tallow has a highly beneficial nutrient content, which is why we chose it for our full body moisturizer product!

Tallow is effective in helping repair skin, preventing damage, and moisturizing, all of which promotes youthful skin. All of the antioxidants and vitamins help keep skin healthy and strong too. Tallow is also great for use on acne prone skin as it has antimicrobial and anti inflammatory properties, and will not clog the pores. Jojoba oil has been proven effective in acne and skin lesion supportive  treatment and may also play a supportive role in wound healing with it's anti inflammatory properties. All around this is a great product for all skin types! Also interesting to note that on it's own, Tallow has a natural spf of about 4 (blocks 75% of UV rays).

We kept the ingredient list short and sweet with this all over body moisturizer, so there are no worries about what is being absorbed.

Directions for use: Best results if used after a shower and exfoliation.
