About us

My name is Gina and we are located in S.E. Wisconsin. I am a science degreed, stay at home mom to five children. Before the last three kiddos were born, I spent 10 years working in a laboratory and loved it! Almost 6 years were in a skin pathology laboratory under a renowned dermatologist, and 5 years were in a hospital laboratory. Needless to say, I have seen alot of skin problems and skin cancer. That experience is part of what fuels my passion for natural skin care and this small business. I do alot of research and take care to put only high quality and natural ingredients, no added toxic junk, in my skincare and holiday candle type products. Your health and wellness, inside and out, matter to me!

Now as a stay at home mom, I love to learn new things every year. Mostly I research things related to homesteading and being responsible with the land and things we have, and caring for my family and our health better. This year I expanded our garden and learned how to use sourdough starter and made all sorts of breads and cakes. Last year it was making Elderberry syrup, and canning tomato sauce and jams.

I started researching herbs and handcrafting dandelion salves from the dandelion flowers that my kids picked for me, three yeara ago. That morphed into creating beard balms for my hubby. I gifted several tins of both products to friends and family and found that people actually really liked them! This year I decided to make more and give even more away.

There was such an overwhelmingly positive response to the balms and salves, that I decided this could maybe be my creative outlet and small contribution to our family's support. I absolutely love doing research on how to support the bodies God gave us naturally, and designing the cute labels is definitely a bonus creative outlet!

Next year my hope is to fill my garden with more herbs and wildflowers for my products. Knowing they are grown from quality seeds, and then being able to use these organic ingredients in my products for my family and customers will be the best feeling!
