Wild Holly Jolly Berry Balm - Red 1oz tin [A pine and holly berry balm naturally scented with top notes of orange, cedarleaf, and fir needle, middle notes of spruce, lavender, camphor, jasmine, rose, peach and pineapple, with a woody cedarwood, patchouli, powdery raspberry and tonka bean base.]

Wild "O Holy Night" Balm

Frankincense and myrrh: Ancient scents of the season! These two ancient tree resin oils still hold a place in our modern day world as they are commonly used in perfumes, cosmetics, aromatherapy and medicines.
The woodsy, earthy fragrance of Frankincense and the warm, spicy aromas of Myrrh mingle to make a pleasant scent profile for both men and women alike. The added hint of Orange citrus essential oil brings a cheerful underlying holiday note. While the overall scent could make this balm a great cologne/perfume alone, it also has impressive properties for skincare! Supportive and aromatic all over body balm.

The name Wild "O Holy Night" comes from the ingredients Frankincense and Myrrh. They are most commonly known as two of the gifts (along with gold- see what I did there with the gold tins!) that the three wise men brought to Jesus as an infant. Myrrh was actually mentioned in the Bible 152 times because it had many important uses as a spice, natural remedy for many ailments, and for purification of the dead.

Frankincense and Myrrh are exotic resins, scraped from the dried exude of Middle Eastern trees. They are strongly aromatic and held in esteem in several cultures for thousands of years.

Frankincense is known to aromatically reduce stress, anxiety, depression. Topically it can help tone and lift skin, is supportive in reducing the appearance of scars, stretch marks, acne; and helps support wounds with it's antiseptic & antimicrobial properties. Frankincense also is moisturizing for dry or cracked skin, and contains anti-inflammatory properties.

Myrrh has a smoky, sweet or sometimes spicy scent. Myrrh can help maintain healthy skin by soothing chapped or cracked patches. Ancient Egyptians used it to prevent aging and maintain healthy skin. Myrrh is a potent antioxidant, and has antibacterial and antifungal benefits.

Wild Holly Jolly Berry Balm

This is a fun and mild holiday hand balm! Highly moisturizing, you can use it in place of your everyday hand lotions for dry skin. This one is very lightly scented with essential oils, so if your nose doesn't like strong scents, this is the balm for you!! It is available in red AND green 1oz tins.

[Most prominent in holiday folklore is the holly’s association with Jesus, either at his birth or on the cross. In the holiday song, "The Holly and the Ivy", the white flowers and red berries are said to symbolize Jesus at his birth, bringing light and color into a world of death and decay. Similarly, other interpretations have compared holly leaves to the crown of thorns worn by Jesus on the cross, the white flowers to his purity, and the red berries to his blood.]

Both Balms contain a blend of organic Coconut Oil, Apricot Oil, Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Argan Oil, Beeswax, Shea butter, Mango butter and Essential oils.
