THE SALVE that started it all! Our Dandelion Salve! These are seasonal salves and guess what, we just picked a ton of wild grown dandelions! We hope to have picked and dried enough to last all summer and maybe into fall for you guys!
Dandelion is a rich source of vitamins A, B complex, C, and D as well as minerals such as iron, potassium and zinc. Dandelions are also known for their natural skin and joint supportive properties. This salve contains Wild grown Dandelion flowers infused in a blend of specially selected oils. Although dandelion-infused oil can be used directly on skin, many people prefer it thickened into a salve that’s both portable and deeply moisturizing. Dandelion salve soothes skin irritations while nourishing dry skin, making it an all-purpose healing support product that’s perfect for daily use!

Both of our varieties contain those basic Dandelion skin support properties. The Dandelion-Calendula version has these added benefits:

According to the Botanical Safety Handbook, dandelion is a Safety Class 1A herb – the safest rating possible. There are no known contraindications for pregnancy, nursing, or use with children, but as always, do consult a physician before use, especially if you have known allergies or are using medications for kidney disease.

No added colorant.

Shipping Note: Cold pack shipping between the months of May and September is our effort to prevent the salves and balms from melting. However, cold pack shipping is still not a guarantee that the product will be in its normal state once delivered. Upon receipt, if your product is melty, you can always place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, to return it to its normal, more solid condition. Melting and re-solidifying will not harm the effectiveness of our products. For more information regarding cold pack shipping, please contact us.
