Wild Whipped Tallow Sugar Scrub - Dark Autumn Harvest

Today with the increasing movement of people seeking clean, pure, and natural ingredients, there has been a resurgence in the popularity of tallow. We also now source most of our Tallow from a farm down the road from us, named Schuett's! Tallow is amazingly effective in helping to repair skin, prevent damage, and ultra moisturize, all of which promotes youthful skin. Add in some sugar and VIOLA, you have a wonderfully moisturizing exfoliating scrub! 

All of the antioxidants and vitamins in Tallow help keep skin healthy and strong too. Tallow is also great for use on acne prone skin as it has antimicrobial and anti inflammatory properties, and will not clog the pores. This recipe is perfect for an all-over scrub down to remove dead skin for a healthy glow. 

The best place to use this exfoliator is in the bath while sitting. Please note that if you do use it in the shower, it can make the floor a little slippery (please use caution!) however the shower/bath is the best place to evenly rub it all over and wash it off. Do everything you can to keep water out of the jar! The less water added to the scrub, the longer it will last. Also, less is more! This Tallow is so ultra moisturizing, you may have difficulty washing it all off if you use too much. It will leave your skin so hydrated and silky! 

Directions for use: Gently rub this sugar scrub all over your body, or wherever you need some skin exfoliation. It is best to exfoliate with this sugar scrub no more than twice a week. It is tempting to use it every day, but you really need to give your skin time in between exfoliating. Also, less is more! This Tallow is so ultra moisturizing, you may have difficulty washing it all off if you use too much. It will leave your skin so hydrated and silky! 

We kept the ingredient list short and sweet with this all over body exfoliator, so there are no worries about what is being absorbed! 

4 Ingredients: Grass-fed Beef Tallow, Pure Jojoba Oil, Leucidal Liquid (NON-GMO plant based Radish Root preservative), and non toxic, phthalate free, paraben free fragrance oils. 

Scent Profile:  

Top: Apple Pumpkin Patchouli Amber

Middle: Absinthe

Bottom: Vanilla

Not sure what tallow is? Tallow is a form of rendered fat (it has been cooked down from meat, and clarified/cleaned up), and is shelf stable. You can't smell any residual scents, only our added non toxic fragrances!
