Relaxium: Magnesium Calm Cream

 This is a totally new formulation of our Magnesium Calm Cream!

 Our original recipe had Shea Butter, Beeswax, Coconut Oil and Avocado Oil, whereas this formulation has Whipped Tallow (odorless because it has been purified; however not refined of its nutrients!) and Jojoba Oils. This results in a creamier, smoother, and ultra moisturizing texture. The original cream also had 10 different essential oils added, and for this updated cream we only added Sweet Marjoram Essential Oil and Arnica Infused Oil.

Magnesium is perhaps one of the lesser known micronutrients, however it plays a major role in promoting good health! Did you know Magnesium is the fourth most prominent mineral in your body? It is one of the 24 major essential vitamins and nutrients that our bodies need to perform optimally. A magnesium deficiency can throw off many of our body's biological functions and increase the risk of chronic health problems. Optimal magnesium levels also support a healthy immune system, stabilize mood, keep stress in check, promote better sleep, contribute to heart and bone health, and help maintain normal nerve and muscle function.

We recommend our Relaxium: Magnesium Calm Cream to aid with problems such as muscle pain and cramping, nerve pain, headaches and migraines, menstrual cramps, restless legs, irritability, fatigue, and after hiking or working out to prevent muscle soreness. Magnesium is a natural relaxant, which also can promote better quality sleep and calm the anxious mind. We added only one essential oil, Sweet Marjoram, to this updated recipe. Sweet Marjoram helps calm the mind as well, has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties, supports the central nervous system, aids with joint, muscle and nerve pain, headaches and is a muscle relaxant. We added Arnica infused oil to aid with inflammation, muscle pains and bruises too.

A few added things to note: With all of the ongoing research out there regarding magnesium and the amazing benefits it provides, it's no wonder that topical magnesium is becoming more and more popular. Topical magnesium has been reported to be absorbed into our bodies in just about 90 seconds. Your body self-regulates topical magnesium, meaning it will not absorb what it doesn't need. Also it has been noted that when Magnesium is applied to the upper or lower limbs, it can help improve quality of life for fibromyalgia patients by reducing pain; and there have been links found between low Magnesium and ADHD in children. There is SO much that magnesium does, and we could go on FOREVER about its benefits, so we urge you to do some research for yourself, and talk with your physician to see how Magnesium can benefit you specifically!

INGREDIENTS: 100% Grass fed Tallow, Magnesium Chloride, Pure Jojoba Oil, Organic Arnica (infused in Organic Jojoba Oil & Organic Grapeseed Oil), Pure Therapeutic Grade Sweet Marjoram Essential Oil (kid safe!), Vitamin E (Sunflower Derived), Non-GMO Radish Root Plant Based Preservative, and a teensy hint of Wintergreen Essential Oil. 

Directions for use: Although our Magnesium Cream is not full strength because it is mixed with Tallow Cream and Jojoba Oil, we do recommend testing it out on a small patch of skin to see if you have an adverse reaction, as Magnesium can cause a stinging sensation in some people. Best applied onto legs 30 minutes before bedtime for a deeper night's sleep.
